At Soma Vita Physio & Wellness, we believe leaking is common—but not normal—and definitely not something you just have to live with.

We believe bladder issues like leaking, urgency, or feeling out of control are treatable, and that every woman deserves dignity, confidence, and freedom in her body—without being dismissed, rushed, or embarrassed.

You deserve care from a team that is highly specialized in pelvic floor health, not just generalists who hand you a list of kegels and send you on your way.

Here’s what sets us apart:

🔹 30+ years of combined clinical experience helping individuals overcome leaking, urgency, frequency, and pelvic floor dysfunction—so they can laugh, sneeze, run, and live confidently again.

🔹 Specialized Advanced Certifications:
Dr. Stella Dimitrakakis is a Certified Functional Manual Therapist™ (CFMT)—an elite distinction held by less than 1% of physical therapists nationwide—bringing advanced hands-on techniques to address mobility, pain, and pelvic function.
Dr. Lauren holds the Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC), demonstrating expert-level proficiency in treating complex pelvic floor conditions like stress and urge incontinence, pelvic pain, and more.

🔹 Both Dr. Stella and Dr. Lauren are Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialists (PCES) — allowing us to support you safely through movement retraining and full-body strengthening to resolve bladder symptoms at the root.

🔹 Functional Manual Therapy™ — Hands-on treatment to relieve tension, improve mobility, and restore alignment that affects bladder function and pelvic control.

🔹 Pelvic Floor & Core Retraining — Teaching you not just how to strengthen your pelvic floor, but how to coordinate, release, and balance it so it functions when you need it most.

🔹 Posture and Movement Assessment — Helping you understand how the way you sit, stand, breathe, and move impacts your bladder—and how to fix it.

🔹 Visceral Mobilization — Gently improving the mobility of your bladder, uterus, and surrounding organs to ease pressure and optimize pelvic floor support.

🔹 Bladder Retraining & Behavior Coaching — Guiding you through practical strategies and nervous system support to reduce urgency, frequency, and anxiety around leaking.

🔹 Holistic Treatment Approach — We integrate breathwork, nervous system regulation, stress management, and whole-body biomechanics for true, lasting change—not just a short-term fix.

We don’t just treat the “average” leaky bladder.
Whether you’re newly postpartum, active, perimenopausal, or just sick of feeling like you always need to “go,” we’re here to help you get your life back—without pads, medications, or surgeries.

“Working with Stella is the best decision I’ve made post-partum. I felt my upper and lower body were disconnected and suffered pains in various parts of my body after giving birth and breastfeeding for two months. I went for chiro after my first baby but wanted something more comprehensive this time. I stumbled upon Stella’s practice in a mom forum. She helped me understand my issues and developed therapies, a total of seven sessions, including soft tissue relaxation and exercises to help me become stronger and more mobile. It’s a liberating experience and absolutely worth it. Stella is knowledgeable, professional, and caring. I love her as a healer and friend.”

“Stella is the most amazing physical therapist you will ever meet. Not only is she passionate but incredibly knowledgeable. When I reached out to her I was experiencing some incontinence (I’m only 32) and lots of pelvic and lower back pain. She worked with me to release muscles that I didn’t even know had a role in that pain and she taught me how to sit and stand better. Who knew there was a correct way to sit? She really made a difference in my life and I recommend her to any woman experiencing pelvic discomfort. No it is not normal to pee every time you sneeze or laugh, even if you had a kid. She can help you fix that!”

“If you are looking for a PT to help with pelvic floor issues or anything of the sort, look no further! Stella was absolutely amazing in making me feel comfortable at every appointment and explaining everything so thoroughly. Before my therapy I couldn’t do certain jumping exercises but now I am able to do so without issues. She also made sure that I would have a plan for home after therapy was over. I would absolutely recommend her to everyone!!”
